The Hawker Typhoon was a British single-seat fighterbomber, produced by Hawker Aircraft starting in 1941. It was intended to be a replacement for the Hawker Hurricane in the interceptor role, but the Typhoon eventually evolving into one of the Second World Wars most successful ground-attack aircraft.
